It's sugar. If sugar is allowed during LR, there's you answer.
Keep in mind there are 16 tablespoons in a cup, and 1T serving of the crystals is 7g carb. LR wants you to keep your carbs below 50g. IMO, crystals are a no-go.

Yeah, I thought it was too good to be true!
I can use a tbs., though, with cacao, coconut butter, and shredded coconut to make 'candy'.

Because Stevia doesn't always taste good with all things :P And, it doesn't give the same texture, either. Personally, I like variety

I agree. I think stevia has an aftertaste.

Put me in with the Stevia Is Icky group. I keep trying it, thinking that it should be better. It isn't. :-(

1T = 7g carb that's pretty low. How much would you need to achieve the desired level of sweetness?

I put 3 tbs. in my recipe that yielded 8 candy patties. That's about 2.62 carbs from the coconut sugar per bar.

I use coconut secret crystals but understand they are not a free pass for sweet foods, but they are probably the best option after stevia, and I don't particularly like the taste of stevia.

A little coconut sugar in coffee probably won't hurt, and can help with the taste a lot.
