Lately I've been doing quite a few experiments with my training, including doing shorter more intense workouts, and using a lot of tricks from the field of spirituality to increase my mental toughness.

A couple days ago, I went into a Sports Science Lab to do a VO2Max test (for max aerobic capacity) and the results were shocking. This stuff WORKS.
