Primal Journal (Mike McClain)
This evening, on the eve of my 41st birthday, I ate my last fast food meal before starting the 30-day challenge to kickstart myself into this quest to go primal. Keeping track of my eating has always been my achille's heel, but hopefully I will find the discipline to do it this time.
9/22/11 - My birthday!
7:00 a.m. - 30 minute core training
Breakfast - 1 Apple
Lunch - salmon spinach salad, with 2 pieces of bread (not what Grok would eat, obviously)
Snack - 1 cupcake and bowl of ice cream (the girls in the office surprised me for my B-day, so I couldn't let them down, despite Grok's disapproval!)
Evening Meal - happy hour (chips w/cheese, 1 beer), side salad (not Grok style)
Not really off to a good start. Have things improved in the past 5 days?
