    healing broken bones

    I understand I should probably up my calcium to help heal my freshly broken collarbone, but is there any other nutrient I should focus on getting lots of? Vit K and D are under control over here, as well. How can I eat best to heal a bone fracture?

    PS. Don't ride a bike down a mountain with a pit bull leashed to your hands.

    I'd make some good beef soup with bones simmered a long time. Much better than calcium pills that block your arteries.

    ^+1, add some egg shells and a some vinegar to the simmering bones. Have a cup with every meal.

    Pork stock is also delicious! Use it to sauté/braise veggies and drink the broth when done; kind of like an easy soup.

    eat liver and keep a healthy mindset.

    broken bones are easier to heal than broken hearts.
