    CLIF Mojo bars

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I picked up one of these from WF the other day and it was hands down one of the best tasting bars out there. It says it has a low glycemic index, and it's fairly light in sugar compared to most bars. I ate the Chocolate Coconut Almond bar. Is there any really offensive ingredients in there or is this a fairly acceptable occasional snack?

(select the Chocolate Coconut Almond item in the menu to see it's ingredients)

Sorry but nearly all of the ingredients are offensive. Highly processed pieces and parts of rice, soy, oats. I miss CLIF bars but not that much.

Kinda figured, but thought I'd ask because they were so good. Guess that was my last bar.

    Thanks

If you need a "bar" and are not trying to lose weight, you might like Larabars. They are just fruit and nuts.

Larabars are equally dangerous on a deliciousness scale, but are more Primal than clif fo'sho

With flavours like cookie dough, brownie, and pecan pie how exactly are they JUST fruit and nuts?

my favorite Larabar is the peanut butter & jelly one. Ingredient list follows:
    dates, peanuts, unsweetened cherries

most of the larabars only have around 5 ingredients, and are largely date/nut based

Because they don't actually taste like what they're named for. They generally taste like fruit and nuts. I'm not saying they're a great idea for daily food but they've got it all over the Mojo bar.
