Primal "bread" (a dirty word, yes?)

Okay so I am in need of "bread" recipies that you have tried and like. I am on a dairy reintroduction program and need something to eat butter on (other than the usual things I eat) and since being primal for several months, feel I want to venture into primal baking a little more than I ever have. Normally I don't bake now

What have you tried and liked?

Well, I don't NEED it, but I sure am missing something to put butter and jam on occasionally, since it has been like 8 months since I had bread! Sometimes you just gotta give into a craving. I am not going back to SAD, or gluten-free starchy breads, and need a primal version for when these cravings strike.

I have tried a few coconut/almond muffin recipies, and they were good and all, but sometimes you just need an indulgence don't you think?

I have tried several primal and paleo bread recipes using coconut flour, almond meal, and/or flax meal; and I have yet to find one that wasn't dry as a desert and/or just plain awful. I don't plan to go back to a SAD life, but I certainly would love to find at least one "tried and true" bread recipe that is tasty. Help!

I copied this from a blog and can't remember which one or I'd give it credit. I haven't tried it yet, but it's in my to do folder. I'd really like to make a braunschweiger sandwich one of these days.

    Paleo Bread

    1 cups blanched almond flour
    2 tablespoons coconut flour
    cup golden flaxseed meal
    teaspoon celtic sea salt
    1 teaspoons baking soda
    5 eggs
    cup coconut oil
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Place almond flour, coconut flour, flax, salt and baking soda in a food processor
    Pulse ingredients together
Pulse in eggs, oil, honey and vinegar
Pour batter into a greased 7.5" x 3.5" Magic Line Loaf Pan
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
    Cool and serve
kiss = keep it simple, sister!

Okay since I have most of these ingredients so I will try this tonight. I think that it will be better with more coconut flour instead of the flaxseed since that is what I don't have anyways. I tend to stay away from flaxseed......although I also tend to stay away from primal baking and treats too! So that doesn't say much
