    Groktimus Primal's - Reeboks / Links

I finally got to try my Reebok SmoothFlex sneakers. The material is a little odd to the touch and gives the sneakers a slightly pillowy appearance (due to the extensive padding) but they are very comfortable and reasonably attractive. The Flex part being the sole design felt good to walk on. It's certainly more natural than an ordinary sneaker but not nearly as good as Vibram soles. The bottom line is they are worth owning if you can get a pair for about $50 like I did from an Amazon sale but I would not pay a lot for that muffler

Groktimus Primal's - Fooling Mother Nature

Groktimus Primal's - Fooling Mother Nature

I finally got into a mini flame war with some guy on Goolge+. He said that organics were sprayed with chemicals and that Monsanto's stuff was essentially saving the world from starvation. He used that fact that there are some exceptions to the no-chemical rule in organics and failed to acknowledge that built in pesticide is not only not good for us but will lead to further resistance and will continually need to be increased via spraying anyway.

All I can figure is that he either works in the industry, is blinded by science or just a bone head. The bottom line is you can't fool mother nature. Sure you get away with it for a while but the penance later on will be heavy and I don't want to pay it.

The everything in moderation quote annoys me, a guy at work said it, I asked him if he would eat dogshit, he replied no, I come back with, NOT everything in moderation then!

Everything in moderation, including moderation. Sometimes ya gotta go whole hog.

Groktimus Primal's - Time to head to Maine soon

Next week I'll be heading to Mark's old neck of the woods. I love the fall and the quiet solitude of Maine. I do believe it's therapeutic and would love to live there some day. I like the cold unlike Mark! I suppose if you lived there the effect would wear off though.

    Groktimus Primal's - Sweden

Well I read yesterday that Sweden was the first country to officially embrace low carb. I was mildly excited that at least one country might have finally pulled it's head out of it's ass but no such luck. It appears it's likely to be untrue.
