Hi,
I am looking for recommendations on where to get grass fed beef.
I am having a hard time locally and will probably have to order online.
Thanks
Steve

Where do you live? Many companies will sell online only within a certain region. Here in the Pacific NW, Thundering Hooves is excellent: http://www.thunderinghooves.net/

@Sharonll - Thanks for the link to Thundering Hooves. They look like a great resource for grass fed meat in the 'off' season (when the farmers markets are closed). I live in Portland.

I have had good experiences with grasslandbeef.com
and I get great bison from northstarbison.com.

I like Slankers because they've got a wide selection of beef, bison, pork, poultry, goat, lamb, all pastured through finishing.
It's a little environmentally unethical to get it shipped, but when I order 90-150 lbs at a time, I don't feel so bad.
Oh and their butter is amazing.

BTW,
Steve, I'm at the Jersey shore, so if you ever decide to do a cowpool, it would be worth the ride for me.
