Sounds like allergies and the sun are kicking your butt too. I hope things start going right soon!

It was a good morning at the barn, and now I'm at the cafe procrastinating over my writing, so it's a good day

Food has been not great, but not terrible. And I'm thinking that the 270# must've been water retention or swelling or something, because the non-official scale is saying more like 260- and they are NOT that different!

So- I really need to go to yoga on Monday, since I haven't been in over a week. I tried on Wednesday, but between the sniffles and the sneezing fit, I gave up. I've been doing a lot of physical things this week, and as exhausted as it makes me, it's nice that I CAN do physical things multiple days in a row. It helps, of course, that I'm doing things I like So, skipping yoga isn't all bad. I probably did 8 hours of horse- which is standing and walking and bending and lifting- and 7 hours of weed pulling, so missing out on 3 hours of yoga isn't terrible. (Got a tip for the weed-pulling. I like them )

8 hours of horse and 7 hours of weeding would knock me the f*ck out so yeah, skip yoga.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

I'm with canio. Don't burn yourself out! I was sick last week (okay, fine, I'm still recovering) and cycled to and from work 3 days in the midst of "It must be bad allergies." I had a huge nap on Saturday. Regular sleep is not enough, you have to rest too.

Cori- What can I say? They liked me, too

Yeah, I skipped yoga. Woke up, looked at the clock, and said, the hell with this. I went back to my dream about lots and lots of kittens that I was feeding with leftover milk from my cow. However, it is good for me from the stretching standpoint, and for the meditation. And because it gets my day started earlier. So . . . try again on Wednesday.

Yesterday was a slow day physically, and today will be, too. However, I need to get back on track with three protein meals per day. Already late with breakfast today, since I slept in.

Can you cook a big batch of protein? This has been saving me lately as I hate to stop whatever to cook and that leads to bad choices like sending the family out for crap while I either fast or grab a hand full of nuts.

I should probably start doing that. I need to dig out a pie plate and make myself some quiche so that I stop eating fast food on my early mornings. A slice of quiche is just as easy to eat in the car as a croissant sandwich and is a lot better for me. I also need to boil some eggs and cook up some steak for salad toppers. Luckily, they also double for lazy meals
