    Dear Mark,

I think your Primal Blueprint sample menu post ( http://www.marksdailyapple.com/prima...t-sample-menu/ ) was quite helpful and I believe that I'm not the only one who thinks so. I'm not really counting the calories I eat or try to keep the right calorie balance everyday. I just try to eat the way that feels the most primal.

But still I sometimes wonder whether I've really already found the right balance. Maybe I should just check the calories/nutritional values of my meals occasionally.

Whatever, this is not what I was actually on about. As I already said, I really liked your menu sample post and I think you should do those more often. Maybe you should post something like that once every few weeks or another idea would be to take that concept and stretch it over one week.

So you would just write down what you ate for one week and put it into a one. I think that would be very insightful, because then we could get a more complete picture of how to be 100% primal.

And since we have a lot of people around here who already are around 100%, maybe they could also post some sample menus for a day or a week and then you could post it on MDA.

But this is just my take. What does the primal community think? Is something like this appreciated or unnecessary?

I agree with MadMUHHH - I'd like to see this too.

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast: 4 scrambled eggs, a carot and some olive oil.

Lunch: beef with a dressing of lime, chili and sawtooth coriander. Some sundried beef and some mixed grilled vegetables with a few grilled shrimps.

Dinner: roasted duck, and a boiled mix of liver, beef and mixed vegetables.

Evening snack: a mango, a fresh coconut (inluding the milk/water in it), and a few purple mangosteen fruits.

JonesJitter-Your day looks 100% primal to me. However, I noticed that your evening snack contained all foods high in sugar content, with very little fat (other than the saturated fat in the coconut) to balance it out. I think this will spike your blood sugar, causing unnecessary cravings, and putting your body in sugar burning rather than fat burning mode.

Daugter of Grok -> Yes, I should generally eat a little less fruit. There's just too much delicious fruit available here in Thailand, and it feels almost free for a western guy. I ate the whole coconut though, so that should even it out a bit :-)
