Who else is not in it to lose weight?

    Primal Fuel
Husband started PB back in January and it worked well for him. I did not follow him at the time because I don't need to lose weight. However, I have been almost primal for the last 4 weeks, when we cleaned the pantry and got rid of all the carbs that were in it. Seriously, the thing is empty... I use it now to store other stuff! Basically the 2 reasons for me to join in are skin problems (I still have to deal with acne) and my immune system. As an RN, I am exposed to a lot of bugs. I get a really bad cold 3 to 4 times a year. So bad that I am right now, for the second time in 2011, on sick leave due to sinus infection. I am also very tired most of the times, even when not sick.

The only carbs I am eating right now come from fruits or nuts.

Ideas on what to do next?

Lots and lots of use are not in it to lose weight. The whole point of the thing is not to lose weight, but to get healthy - it's just that for most Westerners, the most visible and constant reminder of (and partial cause of) their overall ill health is being overweight. Personally, when I started I said that if I could lose 20 lb and be able to do 20 pushups and run a couple of miles, I'd be ecstatic and call it a success. That took about 2.5 months and I needed to find other goals.
Currently they are a 315 deadlift (currently on 285) and 6 minute mile (not sure), 12 strict full chinups (currently about 8-9) and the same 32" waist I had in college (basically got it). I'm probably three months away from hitting all of those....
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/

I'm here for optimum health, not bodyfat loss.

Keep focusing on food quality. Shift, as you're able, toward organic/grassfed/wild caught. If that's not financially possible, no biggie. Just stay focused on eating the right kinds of foods, keeping your O6 in check, maybe nixing dairy if you're having mucus/immune issues, and building strength through lifting heavy things and sprinting. Give your body and mind time to get in the groove. The longer you do this, the more cool stuff you'll discover about how good you feel.
