I've baked them for my husband marinaded in garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a few drops of liquid smoke. He loves them! You can try roasting them low and slow; 300 degrees or so for a few hours.
Found some turkey legs on sale and figured I'd give them a go. I did a quick search and saw a post where someone wrapped them in bacon & baked them, so that would work if I can't find anything else. Is grilling them advisable or do they get too dry? I really wish I had a smoker!

i put them in the slow cooker on low for 12 hours, just rub with salt pepper and olive oil
Into the slow cooker they go! I won't have time to grill/bake tomorrow and it rained all day today.
