Sounds like your challenge is going well. Grok on.

Picking this back up again to keep myself accountable. Doing john romaniello's fat loss forever program and I know I'll stick with it more if I keep declaring my day.

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
Last month I did a 60hr fast to kind of test my mind and see how it affected my body, etc. (I have been periodically doing longer and longer fasts once a month while following a usual routine of only eating one large dinner on all of the other days). Right now I'm going for a 4 day or 96 hour fast. There is a slight possibility that I'll increase it to a 5 day fast but I feel like after 4 days I'll have met and overcome the mental challenge. Overall though I have started these fasting experiments to regain control of my addiction to food (especially sugar- chocolate) and since then I no longer feel a reward/ loss due to food and feel like I have a much better understanding and control of it. I think once I make it through this challenge I will go to a plan of one large meal each night (always dependent on what is actually going on in life) and a 48hr fast once (possibly twice) per month.
Currently I'm just about 24hrs in and going pretty strong (the "stomach pains" do go away after practicing intermittent fasting for a while!). I plan on tracking my progress and also sharing my experiences with a "longer" all water fast (I do take supplements as well- vitamin D, fish oil, magnesium, cinnamon, and probiotics- the cinnamon I have found really helps ward off any blood sugar issues.)
