    Tiff's Challenge Journal

    Primal Fuel
Today is my first day of the challenge. I am going to do my best to follow this, although realistically there might be some cheating. I have been eating about 70% primal but I need to step it up to about 90% so I can really see some results. Hopefully I can make it through.

Today I was pretty good. Not too much cheating

    Breakfast
    - Mango

    Lunch
    - vanilla almond milk
    - romaine lettuce w/ cilantro dressing
    - pieces of steak

    Snacks
    - grapes
    - strawberries and raspberries
    - pecans walnuts and almonds

    Dinner (in about 4 hours)
    - bison burger wrapped in lettuce
    - dark chocolate

    WOD
    20 min AMRAP
    3 rounds
    50 wall balls #14
    10 clean and jerks #65

I got up to 3 clean and jerks of my 3rd round. So close, and yet so far.

    1 rope climb
    5 snatches

Welcome. A bit high in fruits and nuts. Probably should go lower on those and higher on protein.

Yea, you are probably right. I have had a hard time cutting down on fruit. I am trying to increase my protein snacks because I am an incessant snacker and I need something to munch on throughout the day.

Also, I have a confession. I planned on eating that for dinner but I ended up eating pot roast and mashed potatoes...and a donut. My friend had me over for dinner and those potatoes looked so delicious I couldn't resist. I know I know, all bad. I am making up for it today.

Although Mark is still down on potatoes, lots of us have voted with our forks to eat them. I do but keep my daily carbs under 100, ideally under 75. Now about that donut . . . .
