    charitydas challenge journal

    Primal Fuel
Whoo hoo, here we go. I have been "pretty close" to primal for a while now. Time to tighten up, get rid of the sugar cravings. I do have a 5 day trip to Mexico coming up. Not going to be 100% or even %80 on track... camping, fasting, eating the food that is offered to me ( to refuse is very bad manners) ( the BEST tortillas on the planet!) but will do my best and that is ok with me.

Started today with my exercise class, outdoors, part on the beach, based on Xfit workout.

Enjoy Mexico. Take your best shot at primal, but enjoy the tortillas.

Good luck in Mexico! I definitely know what you mean about it being impolite to refuse food. One of the biggest challenges I have here. It's custom to offer food when someone visits you, and practically a spit in the face to refuse. Had me eating corn pudding the other day...definitely was not worth the sugar crash, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices! At least it's only 5 days!

back from Mexico and back to the Challenge. So far so good. I am full of beans, lol and have no desire for more tortillas. Stocked up on good stuff at the grocery store.

hope you had a great trip! I still have 6 more months of the bean belly, but boy is it delicious (and slightly painful in the gastrointestinal department...)

    yesterday's food =
bf - 2 eggs fried in butter, avocado, dandy blend with cream
lunch = some WF deli chicken salad
snack = smoothie made of good sprouts, raw egg yolk, cinnamon, turmeric, fresh ginger, chia seeds, apple, water, hemp oil
dinner = out for chinese, pork and broccoli ( too much icky sauce for it to be good - good thing I had that smoothie because I wasn't hungry and just ate enough to be social)

no workout - unintended rest day due to achey knees
