Where to buy online Primal goodies??

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
So I must really suck at the 'Search' feature. I tried searching for threads in recommendations where buy things like coconut oil and almond flour/meal online. I dropped into the local health food store today, and they didn't even have coconut oil, and they wanted $12 for a pound of almond flour! I almost fell over!! Surely there are plces online where you can buy these items for a little less ... right?

Tropical Traditions is a great place to get your coconut oil! I highly recommend them (and they have Primal noms like coconut cream concentrate). Also check amazon.com. You can get Native Forest coconut milk by the case from them for super cheap if you subscribe to monthly shipments.

I get my almond flour from honeyville. 5lb bag is 29.99 plus about 4.50 shipping. I buy 6 bags at a time and save about 20%. Last time I got a 10% coupon on top of that. I have a primal friend who buys it from me (and saves on shipping) and I keep it in a spare fridge to make sure it doesn't go rancid before I can eat it all. My brother is also a primal newbie w/ his room mate and I just give them a bag here and there to help their transistion away from bread and other baked goodies.

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone!! I'll look not these options. I can certainly afford $6 a pound for almond flour instead of $12 per pound! :-)

If anyone else has any more suggestions, bring them on!

    Thanks again!!

I buy my supplements on Amazon, although I know a lot of people here get them on iherb.com. Tropical traditions is a good one!

I like the following 2 sites, both of which offer almond flour:

    NutsOnline: $7/lb
NutsOnline | Premium Bulk & Wholesale Nuts, Dried Fruits & Gift Baskets

Nutty Guys: $6.12/lb (plus, if you join their email list, they regularly have 50% off sales... they have one today (for orders of $20 or more), expiring at midnight tonight (9/06). Use code "96T" at checkout)

Thanks again, everyone!! I will look into all of your suggestions and work from there. It's good to know that there are options as opposed to the overwhelming expense of the local store ... which, for the record, was quite busy yesterday! Guess that's a good sign! :-)
