    Bacon Blue Cheese Burger

    2 1/2 pound patties 85/15 beef (season to your liking)
    1/4 cup blue cheese (roll into a ball and press flat)
    4 slices of bacon 1/2 cooked

    Place blue cheese patty onto meat patty #1
    Place bacon on top of cheese
    Place meat patty #2 on top of that, seal the edges, then grill for about 5-7 minutes each side.

    Hands only when eating this:-)

    Not a recipe but an idea, the other day at work was a food day with burgers and hot dogs. The burgers were maybe 1/2 inch thick and kinda dry so since I was forgoing a bun anyways I just used the patties as a bun?

    I keep it simple, just add cheese (pref cheddar). I ALWAYS add Worcestershire sauce when I make my burgers.

    Another thing to remember is meatballs. No need to improv a bun. I took 1# of GB, added S&P, some Italian seasoning, 2 beaten eggs, 3 strips of cooked and crumbled bacon, and a few shots of black truffle olive oil. Tasty!

    Ingredients

    * 1 pound ground beef
    * 2 cloves garlic, minced
    * 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    * 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    * 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
    * 4 hamburger buns, split

    Directions

    1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Mix together the ground beef, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil. Divide into four balls, and flatten into patties.
    2. Cook the patties for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. The internal temperature should be at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Remove from grill and place onto hamburger buns. Top with desired toppings and condiments.
