Primal Fuel

Found this on the web: http://www.ourcivilisation.com/fat/index.htm

Read through the links on this page. It was written in 1958. Takes us a while to learn, doesn't it?

Gary Taubes was right. Our grandmothers knew what to eat decades ago, but somehow our conventional wisdom has gotten completely skewed by special interest groups - Big Ag, Big Pharma, Big Whatever.

Amazing to see it laid out so simply. I'm nearing the end of GCBC, and Dr. Pennington was way ahead of his time. If only CW had listened to him, we could have bypassed so much of the "calories in < calories out" and "a calorie is a calorie" weight loss myths, and many of us wouldn't be in the state we're in right now.

Wow! Thanks for the link lbd! I haven't yet gone through all the chapters but it looks like a really condensed version of GCBC. In GCBC too, Taubes begins with Banting.
