So I am about 6 weeks into PB, been doing mostly just the food part, plus Bikram hot yoga 3 times a week ( I love hot yoga!)
I have lost 9 pounds in those 6 weeks -- pounds I have been completely unable to lose for well over a year while doing Weight Watchers after having a baby. So although it's slow compared to many, I am delighted with my progress. (I am 5'2" woman, age 34, started at 168 lbs, am now 159. I have given birth to 4 children, youngest is 15 months, still breastfeeding him.)
I haven't tried Mark's exercise advice yet, though I have been thinkuing alot about it and am picking up his book today.
So I was walking to the bus stop today, and saw the bus coming. I was still quite far away, but if I missed that bus I was going to be late for work. I have never been able to sprint from where I was to the stop without having to stop due to being winded.
I thought, "aw, heck, I'm gonna Grok." And I started to run -- and I made the bus, barely winded at all!
I'm sitting here at work, still totally shocked. I haven't run that fast in many, many years.

Awesome! Next time, instead of trying to catch something, perhaps you should imagine you're running from something. Imagine a lion's claws about to dig into your Achilles tendon. That's a motivator!
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
