I had an incredible Bison burger with duck egg, aged cheese, home-made beet slaw, bacon katjup, pickled daikon and pickled squash. I declined the bun and home-made tortilla chips.

Chef Shack food truck in Minneapolis - never had a bum meal yet.

I packed my own oven-baked beef heart steaks (seasoned with garlic and chili) with spinach, portabella mushrooms, green olives, homemade habanero salsa, and some coconut milk drizzled on top. mmmmmmmmmmm

I had a generous portion of (canned) Wild Alaska Salmon alongside a heaping Organic Spring Mix Salad, with a medium diced tomato, sliced fresh yellow crookneck squash, with a sprinkling of feta cheese, and a couple of tablespoons of EVOO.

To enhance the salmon, I sprinkled on some (non-Grokian) Louisiana Hot Sauce. Woohoo!! I'm a newbie, so forgive me if that's a no-no. But the way I see it, it's much better than the Burger King Whopper 200 yards up the road. LOL!

I'm kinda liking this Primal thing ... I feel quite satisfied and full, even though lunch was over an hour ago.

So, how did I do for a newbie? What would you change about it?

I don't even want to know if Louisiana Hot Sauce is non-primal....nothing keeps me from throwing that stuff on everything haha. I like my food HOT.

BAS with cold roast beef and hardboiled egg. Now I'm snacking on bacon. Edited to add - and another hardboiled egg. I'm having a hungry day I guess.

I'm out of food now until supper time though. Probably a good thing!

Just finished my own personal whole 30 challenge (bacon 30) and enjoying my first day off! Made a protein waffle for breakfast (4 eggs, 2 scoops zero carb protein powder, liquid stevia, baking powder), and I just threw down some cheddar bacon burger patties hubby sweetly bought me a week or two ago. Dinner is spaghetti squash & meatballs.

A pile of spring mix with about half a chicken breast cut up on it, roma tomatoes, and yogurt blue cheese dressing (Bolthouse, no added sugars, only 1 carb, so not too bad I suppose). Several baby carrots. I had a snack of a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs not too long beforehand, though.

Still kinda hungry...dinner is going to be salmon patties and broccoli with ghee. Num! Wish it was now...

Sashimi. Wish the rice had come in a separate cup so I could have chucked it and not looked at it.
It's staring me in the face right now.
