    Hmm....Lunch. Whaddya have?

    I had an incredible Bison burger with duck egg, aged cheese, home-made beet slaw, bacon katjup, pickled daikon and pickled squash. I declined the bun and home-made tortilla chips.

    Chef Shack food truck in Minneapolis - never had a bum meal yet.

    I packed my own oven-baked beef heart steaks (seasoned with garlic and chili) with spinach, portabella mushrooms, green olives, homemade habanero salsa, and some coconut milk drizzled on top. mmmmmmmmmmm

    I had a generous portion of (canned) Wild Alaska Salmon alongside a heaping Organic Spring Mix Salad, with a medium diced tomato, sliced fresh yellow crookneck squash, with a sprinkling of feta cheese, and a couple of tablespoons of EVOO.

    To enhance the salmon, I sprinkled on some (non-Grokian) Louisiana Hot Sauce. Woohoo!! I'm a newbie, so forgive me if that's a no-no. But the way I see it, it's much better than the Burger King Whopper 200 yards up the road. LOL!

    I'm kinda liking this Primal thing ... I feel quite satisfied and full, even though lunch was over an hour ago.

    So, how did I do for a newbie? What would you change about it?

    I don't even want to know if Louisiana Hot Sauce is non-primal....nothing keeps me from throwing that stuff on everything haha. I like my food HOT.

    BAS with cold roast beef and hardboiled egg. Now I'm snacking on bacon. Edited to add - and another hardboiled egg. I'm having a hungry day I guess.

    I'm out of food now until supper time though. Probably a good thing!

    Just finished my own personal whole 30 challenge (bacon 30) and enjoying my first day off! Made a protein waffle for breakfast (4 eggs, 2 scoops zero carb protein powder, liquid stevia, baking powder), and I just threw down some cheddar bacon burger patties hubby sweetly bought me a week or two ago. Dinner is spaghetti squash & meatballs.

    A pile of spring mix with about half a chicken breast cut up on it, roma tomatoes, and yogurt blue cheese dressing (Bolthouse, no added sugars, only 1 carb, so not too bad I suppose). Several baby carrots. I had a snack of a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs not too long beforehand, though.

    Still kinda hungry...dinner is going to be salmon patties and broccoli with ghee. Num! Wish it was now...
