I watched this whole documentary a while ago on Netflix, but now I can't find it again, even in my history. It was excellent, following the 4 boys who are chosen to come to America from a refugee camp in Africa. Wish I could find the name, it was a really moving story.

When the woman at the pool asks them "... you have more freedom here right..?" I had to pause it, I couldn't believe she'd ask that.

Do Americans really think the rest of the world is under slavery and devoid of "freedom" ?? honestly? Sure, there are areas in which you can't criticize authority, etc but this hard-on for freedom is one of the worst things about this society, it's beyond annoying.

I feel bad for them. I can't imagine how isolating that must feel.

it's real hard for them at first, but they assimilate fairly well, all in different directions, and the movie sort of chronicles their life over a good chunk of time. it's worth a watch.
