    AFTER THE DEBAUCHERY: DAY ONE

Well, it was not quite debauchery. One carbohydrate heavy lunch, three-quarters of a soda, half a child's size gelato, and four cinnamon bears were enough to render me so ill that I could not continue. So the massive water retention I expected never received the fuel with which to create itself.

    Saturday weight: 188.6

What have I done to my body? I used to stare 250-300 grams of carbohydrates in the face without fear every single day.

You've taught it to be healthy. A day like you had with carbs and junk shakes it up and gives it a little shock.

his is why some days Gay Panda can’t stand to read the news, and goes to YouTube instead to watch cat videos of that adorable Maru jumping in and out of boxes. Should you ever need a palate cleanser for your brain, watch ‘Maru and the Giant Box!’ followed by ‘Many too small boxes and Maru’.
I just spent the last 20 minutes watching Maru videos - and laughed so much I couldnt breathe.

I don't remember the name, but there is also a video of kittens on a Roomba that cheers me up. But Maru is the best. Slim box is my favorite.

UPDATE: I looked it up. Just type in 'kittens riding vacuum'.

If I had to vote, the one with him(?) in the gap relaxing made me laugh the most. It's one of the newer videos.

I love the time he (I guess) takes in contemplating his jumps. The height. The angle. The approach. And how he is so often successful.

And then I compare it to my darling Primal Coach Kitty, who spent five minutes in contemplation yesterday before jumping squarely on my keyboard.

Isn't that only 1.4lbs? That's not water weight, that's belly button lint or something (not to suggest Gay Panda is lax in his personal cleanliness)

    AFTER THE DEBAUCHERY: DAY TWO

And upwards I spiral . . . this is after returning to primal on Saturday, with the exception of a handful of cinnamon bears and Reese's Pieces and two tempura shrimp.

    Sunday weight: 189.2

Pandakins, it is not the end of the world. Our weight fluctuates. That is what it does. The important thing is having fun. Did you have fun? Fun is more important than the numbers on your super sensitive scale.
