I remember Ira. But does she remember Col. Kurtz, I ask you? I submit that she does not.

All names are gender neutral with chickens, though. Name her Bob if you want.
My own grandmother, a fine gentile southern lady from Mississippi money (and a spicy little red-headed wench!), was Billie Doris.
    I loved that name.

I work with a man whose name is Ira. I'd never heard it before I met him.

I figured you were the sort of fellow who'd be familiar with Modernist poetry.

V for Vendetta amuses me in part because supposedly anarchist dudes by the boatload have adopted the commercialized V mask as a symbol of their rebellion (in particular those masks appearances at things like OWS). I wonder how many of them stop and realize that their masks are putting big bucks into the pockets of a major corporation.

Good movie though. It was one of the first ones I saw with my partner (my pick, in fact).

V for Vendetta sucked. 99% Of the movie had me going "WTF?" and the other 1% was "Aww, her hair". It's like the only significant moment in the film was the shaving scene and that just made me feel sick.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

^I wonder what you'd think of the graphic novel it was based off of, then. I loved both, but the novel definitely makes more sense.

Haha no, it's very Jewish. I thought "Ira" was a Hebrew name because of that.
