My mother might have hoarded rocks, but at least she stashed them well out of the way in the dusty recesses of the laundry room and paid attention to us kids instead of the rocks. Or the dust, for that matter.

I don't know if this will help, but GP and everyone else who suffered through childhood - you make me actively grateful for my own weird but loving and sane parents.

Aside from the mortar and pestle, which lives in the kitchen, and the geode slice necklaces, which live in my jewelry box, the rest live in an abalone shell in my lab.

My smallest rock is 7" across, I would need a really BIG shell

Yeah, most of my spirit rocks are fairly small. The largest is an amethyst point 3" long. The smallest is a sliver of garnet maybe 1/4" across.

GP, I saw an episode of Hoarders where the gal couldn't part with a rotted pumpkin sitting on her living room floor. She collected some of the seeds and demanded that the crew allow her to keep them to be planted because it was "such a beautiful pumpkin". Seriously??? It's rotted. Pitch it.

That was the first episode I ever saw!!! I screamed and screamed at the television and then I called Lady Friend (oh, you're working, Lady Friend? THIS WOMAN WAS COLLECTING SEEDS OUT OF A ROTTED PUMPKIN SHE KEPT IN HER LIVING ROOM AND---)

I just watched an episode the other day in which the woman had collected twelve years of her waste in bottles. And she had no idea why her place smelled (it's dust!). Um, no. Try again. The home cleaner enlightened her on the source of the smell and she was astonished and said, "Well, I learned something about fecal matter today!"

    beautiful
    yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!
