I've been kicking around the idea of going to a holistic medical practice in my area. Then I looked at the list of doctors. One of them is none other than David Brownstein of iodine fame.

    Oh nooooooos!

I just don't know if I can take any of them seriously now.

You featured in my dreams last night, GayPanda.

I was at the movies and saw a poster of a coming attraction: a fresh green bamboo forest, definitely magical, with a glowing pale yellow center. Along the bottom ran the words: Based on the graphic novel, 'If it is raining pandas, dear Valhalla, please let it be GayPanda'.

I immediately ran to the MDA forum, which in the dream seemed to be a physical place, and Lady Friend conformed that, yes, there was indeed there was a book AND a movie coming out, based on your journal musings. She also let slip your gender (I was right, but had to nonchalantly care that I didn't care that I was such a great guesser.)

Then my dachshunds woke me up.

Hey all- I just wanted to poke my head in and get a pinch of feedback on a description for my Christian/Edward character:

“How is your morning, so far?” The small talk was sort of expected, when we weren’t busy, but it also gave me an excuse to look up at him between steps in his drink. His descriptor of Mr. Handsome wasn’t in the least bit sarcastic. He was tall, maybe 6’1”, with broader shoulders but a very lean, muscular body and narrow hips that his pants clung to just right. He always wore his sunglasses, we had never seen his eyes, but his paler skin could easily be explained by hair that was close to a dark auburn. It defied easy description, being too dark to be copper, but bronze wasn’t really accurate either. It was long enough to be carelessly brushed back, just begging for a hand to be run through it.

“So far, so good.” He almost flowed along as he followed me down the line of steps for the coffee bar. It had to be all that working out to keep his body looking like it did that let him move like that. It was all I could do to not trip over my own feet.

Is the mockery too thick, or is it "subtle" enough to get away with

I think it's subtle enough, but I would suggest describing what kind of pants they are. I don't know why, I feel like that's missing.

I've been thinking about that, but I can't come up with a way to describe cotton-blend dress pants. Because who the hell wears flannel pants, and he just isn't a linen-pant kinda guy
