As far as I understand it, there isn't any bible in the courtroom anymore. I mean, none that I have been to, observed. Instead, someone walks over and says "raise your right hand" do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? and then you are done.

Though, I much prefer the oath: I solemnly swear I am up to no good. But that only works with some maps and not others.

I haven't seen a bible in a courtroom for a long time. This was PA, though.

In Texas, they probably still do. Most of this state is backwards enough to call for it. (Yes, I'm a native. But I've met a LOT of the other natives.)
My favorite oath is still "Get fucked, asshole!"
What, wrong kind of oath? Fine... "I swear on my mother's grave." "Your mom's not dead." "Exactly."

I openly admitted that the last time I was in court I was about 10... so darn near 30 years ago... in small town TN... PRIME Bible-belt real estate.

I honestly wouldn't doubt if they still do it that way... I go home for a visit and the girls my age have all tun into their mothers... same weirdo bouffant hairdos and everything. It's frackin creepy! Like 'land of the lost' for conservative hicks.

Strange... that's usually how husband feels about me when I'm sober! I try to help... he's all "WTH woman?" And I'm then given the responsibility of being the supervisor and getting drinks... just like I planned!

Ok, this is a strictly technical question. Are those pony videos made up of actual My Little Pony clips or are they written for the video? I was pretty sure it was real clips (and how many hours did this person spend watching episodes?!) until I saw them drinking and flirting. Mostly the drinking.

Yes... those are real MLP episode clips with HOURS of editing.
I think I'd kill myself if I had to do that... but somehow the final product is awesome!
