Our arguements sometimes devolve to 'let's see what google has to say about that'. Because, you know, the internet knows everything about everything.

I blame it on growing up in a house with three Aspies who all liked to perseverate at me at the same time. This also means that while I'm not actually an Aspie myself, I tend to act like one anyhow.

I'm still not sure whether having google on my phone is the best or the worst thing that ever happened to me. It lets me prove I'm right on a regular basis, but that's not always all that good for one's relationships.

I am a person who desperately wants to live off the grid, but even I shudder to consider the possibility that I wouldn't be able to go look something up online the second I want to know about it. I remember when I was little, before the internet. Sometimes I would want to know something. If neither of my parents knew the answer, that was pretty much the end of inquiry, because there were no other methods. (the dictionary was not a huge help most of the time) I remember how frustrating that was, not being able to learn whatever it was I wanted to learn.

Because, seriously. If I want to find out how matches work at 4 in the morning while eating bacon naked on my couch, that is my gourd-given right.
