so I went on caveman forum and posted a typical meal
Plan and got told I wasn't paleo but more like primal! So I am trying it over here.
I have cut out carbs and am trying to replace with veg and protein.
So here is a typical day.... Do I fit in with you guys?
Breakfast - 2 poached eggs and chicken
Snack - cashew nuts
Lunch - salad with egg and pulled ham and small amount of homemade Mayo!
Snack - coconut yoghurt
2.5 hour hilly training ride
Dinner - omlette with mushrooms and tomato

hahahaha what forum was that? I'd love to go read what those bozos are on about... especially because that sample menu is pretty damn paleo, what did they say was more 'primal' ? the mayo?
Apparently ham, tomatoes, cashews and yoghurt are not paleo.
I had pointed out I wasn't dropping dairy yet!

Tomatoes - They think they don't work because they are night sades.
Ham is "processed" meat, but according to Mark it's ok to have every now and then just watch for the extra stuff. I perfer Boars Head when in a bind.
Cashews are not the best type of nuts, but I eat them (with control/limited amounts)
Dairy - Cheese / Yogurt - They don't like dairy over there. With Primal it is allowed (if your body can handle it.) Some people are lactose intolerant.
Now the coconut yogurt?? If it is from coconuts, it's not considered dairy. So the guy was just being a jerk on that.
