Ever since an injury in '91 to the right scapula I have not been able to do back or front squats, can't support the weight. So I switched to dumbbells and recently to the hip belt. Now I train on alternate days and switch between the two. The DB's hit the outer quad, the hip belt attacks the inner and middle. Let me tell they are brutal! This photo was taken this morning while performing 5x5 with 16lbs above body weight. My arms are just used for balance.
