    HOLY COW!! A week went by and no updates =.= Too busy!

    Sunday:

    7 hours sleep. Walked around in the morning and drank coffee and coconut water. Gym.

    Snatch: 45x5, 55x3x3
    Clean: 55x5, 65x3x3
    Deadlift to shrug: 75x5, 100x5, 125x5, 145x5
    Push press: 45x5, 55x5, 65x5, 75x3x3
    Front squat: 75x5, 105x5, 125x5
    OH squat: 45x3x5
    Bench: 45x15

    Ate potatoes and chive and egg for lunch. Dinner was some bass, hecka pears, sesame seed ice cream, and cacao nibs. Calories 2750.

    Monday:

    6.5 hours of sleep because couldn't fall asleep until past 1. Coconut water and coffee for breakfast. Walked 1 mile during the day. Lunch was chicken and peanut salad. Came home to eat 2 lb kabocha squash and chive and egg scramble and some ice cream. Calories 2000.

    Tuesday:

    6.5 hours of sleep because playing games til really late. Coconut water and coffee for breakfast. Walked 1.5 miles during the day. Pork thing for lunch. Gym. Didn't feel recovered from Sunday's workout because the lifts were harder, albeit the same.

    Deadlift to shrug: 75x5, 105x5, 125x5, 145x5

    Dinner was 1 lb perch, 1 lb potatoes, and 1 lb steamed napa cabbage. Also had a chocolate. Calories 2100.

    Wednesday:

    7 hours of sleep. Coffee and coconut water for breakfast. Walked 1.5 miles during the day. Had trout, mashed potato, asparagus w butter, and a polenta croquette for lunch. Dinner was my prepared lunch (pork thingy) and came home and ate the remaining 2 lb of kabocha and some chocolate chips. Calories 1800.

    Friday:

    7 hours of sleep. Coffee and coconut water for breakfast, followed by some chocolate covered cacao nib bar. Pork sukiyaki for lunch. Dinner was chicken and greens and potatoes from WF. Walked about 3 miles during the day? Calories 2400 after eating 8oz chocolate chips and 2 pears after coming home late and playing video games....

    Saturday:

    6.5 hours of sleep. Had chicken apple sausage and a poached egg for breakfast, with some oversalted spinach and grilled tomato. Got coffee. Lunch was brown rice with lau lau. Walked very leisurely for an hour and ate some chocolate. Then 2 hour moderate hike. Then dinner of salad with sardines and parmesan, trout with potato and spinach, and panna cotta. Came home, ate a pear and a bunch of chocolate, and was finally satisfied. Calories 2400.

    So I think I'm going to finally end my journal, since I think I've gathered enough data to the point where I don't need to document anything.

    My takeaway points to good health on the days where I feel the most awesome:

    - Chocolate as a daily item of more than 100 or so calories is too much. Same goes for anything else sugary.
    - Need more than 8 hours of sleep to function daily.
    - Take rest from the gym if I really need to. Weightlifting > powerlifting to get cut. More stretching to recover faster.
    - Walking too much is also too bad. Sweet spot around 2-4 miles/day.
    - Relaxing more often gets the job done better. Need more yoga to help with this. Also stretching in general helps.

    Biggest takeaway:
    Need to be more happy more often.

    Looking back:

    December 2011 when I started:
    - 160 lbs
    - Stressed out
    - Tired and sugar crashed all the time
    - Generally not satisfied with anything; unrelaxed

    Now:
    - 150-152 lbs (and more muscle!)
    - Still stressed, but learned to just stop and smell the flowers sometimes
    - Not always tired. Focus is much better.

    Well, that's just great. I've injured myself in three different spots, have been binging on a lot of sugar, and am now 155 according to the doctor's office (albeit after a sizeable lunch and 2L of water)
