I pinned a possible solution made with plumbing pipes ( I would paint them) and wooden planks as "table tops" for the key board and monitor. Very unobtrusive. My desk is not actually the reception desk per se, it is behind the reception desk but easily seen so it cant look cheap or cheesy. So no boxes or books or make shift stuff. It needs to be 15" for the keyboard and slightly higher for the monitor. So the 2 tier one of painted pipes might just work.

he doesn't get back into town until mid August, so I will have to remind myself, I tend to get on a tear about something and then it fizzles out.

    3:2:2
    N.E.A.T.
    Write it down

Optimal Health Plan with Rumble Strips this is a reminder of my weekly goals...

    1) FOOD, all I am "counting" is calories (sorry to those who think it isn't about the calories)
-Fat fast till 4:30 on down & moderate days (all calories from fat)
    -doing 3:2:2=
--2 days of 550 calories or less,
--2 days of 1500 calories or less
--4 days of thoughtful eating to hunger yesterday, but no idea the calories.

    2) DATA
-Weigh and Measure 1x/week (Saturdays) Track in journal or MFP. since yesterday ended up being an up day, I will do a down day today and use tomorrows weight as my weekly weigh in.
-Track food every evening (check food rumble strips) DONE

    3) EXERCISE
Working on N.E.A.T....for now, eventually add in Tabata
-10,000 steps a day-yesterday was only 5,672, so 5,600 is obviously my baseline, now to get it higher
---30 minutes on treadmill every day-nope
---computer/phone time at home less than 1 hour
-10 flights of stairs yesterday was 5
    ---use upstairs bathroom
---carry fewer grocery bags at a time

    4) SLEEP
--to get to where I don't need an alarm to wake up (about 7.5 hours of actual sleep)
--To bed by 10, up at 6:30 every day nope, yesterday in bed at 11, 86% efficiency this also is seeming pretty consistent

    5) BINGES
--I find I am not having trouble with this as long as I stick to the 3:2:2 plan (which I did very well with for 2.5 months, so back to it!) so far so good on this front,

    6) SYSTEMS
--Use journal to evaluate daily. here I am!
--Re-evaluate weekly to be sure I have not aimed too high or too low.

Yesterday was an up day and proof positive that, even with a short window, I can flat out eat some calories. Did not keep track, but know that it was a lot. So today is going to be a welcome down day, with housekeeping and yard work to do.

Looks good. Those days that you plan a MD or a DD and they end up being something else are so frustrating. You seem pretty "go with the flow" with it. Awesome!

Yesterday would normally be a work day but I had to take off to pick DS up from camp. No problem normally with my dd. But DH had decided to take the day off and ride along and then he decided we needed to grill out. Now the problem with grilling out is that it is a ton of work for me. So I was in the kitchen most of the afternoon, when I had not planned to be and on what was supposed to be a dd that just doesn't work. Not only did it put me in constant proximity with the food it also annoys me that I am doing so much work when he is sitting on his ass and it was his idea. The boys do the actual grilling part, I do all the rest.

Anyway, I had just recently done a dd on a day off so I know I can do one today especially since I am still not hungry after yesterday.

One fun thing I got to do yesterday before I started the food fest...my BFF's daughter is getting married and yesterday we started messing with her hair to decide what we are going to do for the wedding.

When my dad states he is grilling out. He does it ALL. Well, except the cleaning up. Perhaps that needs to be the new way to grill out to respect what you are trying to do to get healthy. Its the same at my house.. I grill which includes all prep and my mom cleans up.

I swear, if I could get a day or two off, I'd be on a plane to TN.

I really want a spiral perm. I'm suspecting that thin, fine hair probably won't work
