Stewart airport in Newburgh is the closest with Albany second. Going to the big airports in the city is a PITA.

I really need to talk this out with Bill. The price would be a little steep for us at $500 for air fare alone

Wow that is steep Paula..do you all have "hopper" flights? Wichita has a hub to like 7 major cities pretty cheap..

kayak.com has round trip Newburgh to St. Louis non-stop for close to $250 depending on the details. To Wichita closer to $400. But yeah it will get pricey adding in the room. Figure close to $500 for the 4 days.

Don't forget Greyhound. If you book well in advance, you can get some amazing deals.

Well, $500ish for everything wouldn't be bad. If we can settle on a place and dates, then I can see what is possible.
Travelocity was giving me quotes of around $500 even to fly to Kentucky, based on Chris' original suggestion.

I am thinking a larger city hub will get the better rates. Ruth?? You want to weigh in?

Staybridge Suites Extended Stay Hotel St. Louis - Saint Louis, MO

I dunno..but it looks like they have kitchens so we do not have to eat out all the time.

If we confirm places and dates, think I can get us a 2 bedroom place at one of the marriotts, with a kitchen. Then, we just have travel and food.
