    I'm praying it does, too. Not a lot...but a little avocado, a bit of chocolate, etc. would make life much more enjoyable.

    I am pretty sure life without avocados would be a lot less fun! Sorry.

    OMG, I found the DD food porn page. Most of it would easily be primal and low carb, and easy to make. I am getting excited.

    Sabine has also started. Her DD and UD are the same as mine (so far).

    I do recommend starting with an UD. I cannot imagine coming into this if I had eaten my usual 1000-1200 calories. I could have managed, but not well.

    I would note that there is a little talk of binging. So, I've been watching that. However, I think if you eat pretty nutritiously (while enjoying a few indulgences), then the need for binging is less. Like I said, I haven't felt like that (yet) on my up days.

    I think careful planning will be in order. I expect I will have less trouble with binging given I will be able to say wait you can have it tomorrow. I am just not good with the idea of long term deprivation. One day I think I can handle. Especially when I look at the ideas they have for quantity of food on the DDs.

    I may also have to have my DDs on days I work, so I may only get 2 in a week. I will see how it goes though, don't want to dampen my spirits before I start.

    Last Sunday (my first DD) was mentally hard, as it was my first, and it was a weekend (no work) and I was home. But, drinking lots (and lots) of water and tea helped.

    There's a neat thread where one lady made 35 calorie mini-meals and ate one every hour. They were easy things - cucumbers with dip, coffee with HWC, etc. If it was all prepared ahead of time, it would be a good option for something like a weekend day.

    I plan one "normal" meal with DH. The rest, tea, water, broth. Not so bad, actually.
