Chris, couldn't remember if you are leaving for the beach today. If so, be safe and have fun.

Those were my favorites too. My daughter bought a box while she was here last week.
BTW-- your granola was a HUG hit with my weekend house guests. I sent most of it on the road with them this morning-- too addictive for me to have around with no one to share it with. It made a good topper for the pumpkin protein "mousse" I made.
Hope you have a wonderful trip![]()

somewhere she is on the beach.. soaking in the rays.. collecting shells.. walking the beach.. umm yeah. jealous.
omg! perfect week, gorgeous weather, zero stress, no attention to what I ate (will not weigh in until we all do it on the 14th), lots of vitamin D, lots of fantastic sleep, lots of roaming the beach, lots of knitting, all caught up with the family gossip.
My mom's coverup came out perfectly (she decided it was way too nice to wear over a bathing suit, so she put on a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top and put the lacy thing over the top and looked adorable-she finally lost all of her weight and has maintained it for the past year).
Even though the drive was quite long my son finally did start talking, he is a funny kid. It was a great break.
We got back to his ACT scores. He got a 29, which we think is quite good for his first attempt with no studying. He will study and try again this summer. It is a point better than his sister did on her first attempt. He got into the 99% in ENGLISH! shocking, he is dyslexic. Obviously the brain has overcome.
We will leave in a couple of hours to visit a college in Arkansas, then back tomorrow and back in the grind.

Thanks!
Actually being smart is part of his problem. He is able to pull off some pretty good grades without actually turning in some of his assignments. Drives me nuts! He won't get away with this in college I am sure!

Welcome Back, Chris!
thanks!
Well we learned in Arkansas that he doesn't want to go there. That is a good thing to learn. We will do a UT Knoxville visit this month and pick up some of DD's stuff while there.
I am back on track today...
...Sticking to my SPEED goals
...Working within my intuitive eating parameters
...low net carbs (under 50g net)
...9 different fruits and veggies every day (health focus)
...treadmill/10,000 steps daily (this will have to be an estimate for now, my pedometer gave out over break)
First weigh-in/measure will happen on (or about) the 15th of April which is about the 1 year anniversary of going low-carb, I will try to find the original measurements so I can compare-Primalversary is in August).
