I'll be interested to hear about the test results. D3 has made the biggest difference for me. I take two tiny gel pills and get 10,000iu of D daily. My doc says she never sees such good D levels in her patients. My level is 70.
Hope you have a wonderful time and i can't wait to see what your year's success numbers will be.. I admire that you have been able to stay with it that long..i hope i can![]()

I just did an hour and 45 minutes of yard work, the emergency stuff that had to be done before I left. Now I have to cut DH's hair, then take DS to church, then give DH a shower (wish this was as fun as it sounds every time I say it!), then pick DS up from church (no I don't go, no lectures please, the kids already ride my a$$ about it). Then lunch, then we take DS to his quiz bowl competition, then dinner, pack, bed. Busy day, but only a day away from the beach.

You may not be going to church, but it sounds like you are giving your day in service to your family. What's not to be pleased about in that? (Especially for your family!)
I don't go either so you most certainly won't get any lectures from me!!! To each their own!!
I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation!

Yeah!!!! his team came in 3rd in the Tennessee World Affairs Council Quiz Bowl. But only by 1 point and it was a disputed question about president vs. premier Putin. No big deal though, they did an amazing job! They only knew about it for 2 weeks, and had to learn an incredible amount of minutiae. So next year they will know what to expect. They were within 8 points of the winners (out of 100 possible), and the winning team, we found out today, gets a free (!) trip to DC to compete in the USA World Affairs Council Quiz Bowl! We are so going to DC next year!!!!
I should be clear about the church thing. I don't do the services, but I do a ton of volunteer work, the services currently are to me a huge waist of time and energy. My kids don't do the services either, but they do the youth group, and volunteer work also. So them getting on my case about not going is kinda funny actually. I actually miss the services we attended when we lived in Gainesville. Once DS is away at school I will find a church I can attend, or attend to my garden and keep doing volunteer work and skip services, who knows.
