Question Breathing better after large amounts of meat? Any theories?

I might be a strange case here but several times now I've exceeded 1lbs of meat in one meal and a few minutes later, I feel like I'm taking in large amounts of oxygen via my nostrils. It's a similar feeling I had when I used to take NO2 (nitric oxide supplement) where it seemed like every inhale felt cooler and with more volume (sinuses cleared up too?)

After the first time it happened, I did some experimenting where I would eat the same meal at the same time but only changed the amount of meat. I ate the same vegetables every time. I did a test with 1/2 pound of hamburger (1 patty) then went to 2 patties (a little over a pound). I repeated the same protocol using ribeye, flat iron steak and at one point free range chicken with skin. In all instances it produced the same results. I'm not sure if that's making any sense but I was wondering if anyone experienced similar? Any ideas what might be causing it?

Maybe your body is trying to regulate CO2 to correct the pH of your blood?

We don't even know if that's what is happening. And even if it is, no. Not really bad. Just a regulation mechanism. But wait for more answers, I have a feeling there's more to this.

I would think that TEF make you're metabolism go up, and you need to breath more. Do you feel warm?

not the same, but similar. I definitely get an adrenaline rush after enjoying a good piece of beef. Increased air flow, a buzz... I feel like I could run the Boston Marathon after I down a steak!
