Question Cutting out dairy - coconut milk question:

    Primal Fuel
When you guys say you use coconut milk in you coffee or in a protein shake, etc...are you referring to the milk in a can, or the milk that is in the cartons? I'm unsure what to buy...usually i just enjoy almond milk and hwc in the morning cuppa, but im curious about the coconut stuff.

The stuff in the can. That's the real deal. The stuff in the carton is a coconut milk-based beverage.

Look for Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk, or Nature's Forest. They are both in a can and contain minimal ingredients - Coconut milk, water, guan gum.

If you are having problems with dairy read up on the benefits of raw milk. I always thought I had a problem with dairy. I found out the problem was with commercially prepared pasteurized homogenized milk. I can get raw milk from a farm 20 miles away and I have no problem with it. I am limiting carbs right now so I buy raw cream and use it in my tea.

I found a brand called Golden Star Coconut Milk, its ingredients are coconut milk and water only. I bought them the other day when I went shopping, so i'm pleased I chose canned over the carton

Thank you everyone for the help and information! I love this community.

sounds like mainly added vitamins - probably for the vegetarians and vegans who are vitamin deficient!
