Great article regarding the fascia tissue...Makes so much sense! Can't wait 'til I get into the field of exercise science, should be very interesting...

Awesome. Jess (and anyone) hit me up if you ever want to talk about Rolfing and Feldenkrais, two of my biggest interests. Glad this sort of stuff is getting more press

    Check out my blog here.

Wow cool article, shitty annoying ads though.

I just finished an anatomy course and this really makes sense to me. It kind of makes me feel like the HIIT exercises are so beneficial because they force your body to be more efficient in muscle groups which is all linked by the overlaying fascia.

@lcme, I feel the same way! It's that functional MOVEMENT...

@jess nice article. this is the kind of evaluation i was taught to do in athletic training. it's interesting how far we've come in terms of understanding form & function in regards to daily living...i think that's why i'm loving ashtanga yoga so much. i can feel how i'm supposed to position myself to get maximal output. i love the body!

Makes me think back to Mark's article on squatting instead of sitting in a chair.

    Thanks Jess

Isn't Rolfing like a massage type thing. Well more like adjusting the fascia like you would pantyhose. (Not that I would know what that is like... just saying)
