Anyone try pie crust with coconut oil and flour? For a berrie pie?

Are you talking about just mixing some coconut oil and coconut flour into a dough? That is not going to work. You will get a rock-hard disaster. Try some of these:

Mark posted a pie crust recipe here:

But when I tried it all I got was a hard clump of dough that would not roll. I had to melt it and press it into the baking dish.

MY wife uses crushed almonds and a bit of coconut oil. Just throw some almonds in the blender, add enough oil to make it stick together, then spread it around the pan evenly. It works wonderfully when we make low-car cheesecakes.

Yaish, you beat me to it. I was just thinking these crusts would be a great substitute for the graham crust on a cheesecake

Mark's recipe for chocolate chip cookies less the chocolate chips comes out remarkably like a graham crumb crust when patted into a greased pie plate. Remove the dates and vanilla as well if you are doing a savory pie.
