Is that amount of fruit typical for Paleo? It sure sounds like a ton. How many carbohydrates does that day end up at....?

Thats a lot of bananas...actually, thats a lot of everything.
I am interested in why they chose to specify chicken breast.
About the driest, least flavorful part. Chickens are pretty
tasty, thats why they are so hard to catch (:
Overall, the article is just another bit of CS/SAD propaganda
under the guise of something good for you. Actually, what
else would you expect, considering the source.

That article was painful to read. I know there is no "definitive" guide as to what exactly is considered paleo but they seem to be getting a lot of things wrong. The diet they describe isn't even close to what I'm currently following. Pretty sure the author just spent a half hour googling "paleo" and that's what he came up with.

Doesn't look typical to me (especially when you start talking egg whites, or diet soda being okay), but I've never been normal.

Yeah, the egg whites are goofy. Eggs should be whole.

But the fruit looks fine to me. On a true paleo diet, I don't think there's any such thing as too much fruit. Fruit may be problematic for people with insulin resistance, but no hunter-gatherer would ever be metabolically deranged. They didn't eat vegetable oil or other highly inflammatory foods, so fruit should be okay in any quantity.

Maybe fruit smoothie girl wrote it, or talked to them. She was pretty keen on saying she was Paleo with her massive fruit smoothies every day.
