question about roasting old, sun exposed pumpkin seeds
apologies for a badly written thread last thing at night but i had this question:
Ive got a jar on my counter with old pumpkin seeds that have been bleached by sun shine and dont taste very good. Now I wondered is it safe to roast these aka will I not expose myself to fats I dont want to ingest?
Thanks in advance,
Pumpkin Seeds: High in omega 6.
The bad fats.
1/4 cup raw pumpkin/squash seeds:
Carbs: 6g (1.35g fiber)
Omega 6: 7.14g
Omega 3: 0.06g (not even worth mentioning!)
