    Favorite fruit?

I once participated in a class survey of favorite fruits. The teacher then read off the descriptions of each of our choices and what it said about the individuals that chose them. I remember choosing apples, and I was impulsive, charming, and a leader.

Anyways, I'm posing the same question here. What's your fav fruit? Assume everything is perfectly ripe and right in front of you.

I think I'm going to have to go with raspberries. Judge not. Unless you are ready for judgement.

Dark chocolate and coconut drinks make good condiments too.

I can't pick one - Depends on the season -
    Strawberries in spring.
    Cherries in late spring.
Wild blackberries in summer(which I pick and eat while walking in the local park).
Blueberries, peaches, blackberries, raspberries in summer.
    Apples in fall.
Except for peaches, we go to a local orchard to pick our fruits and berries fresh off the tree/bush. They have peaches, but don't do U-pick because they say it's difficult to tell which ones are ripe, so they have those in their farm store. Strawberries, I have a small patch myself or buy from local stands.

If I had answered this question 24 hours ago, I would have agreed with the OP that raspberries are the best fruit. However, last night I had some "perfectly ripe" blueberries and I don't think those can be topped. I've always really liked blueberries but the batch I've got now? OH. MY. GOD!!!

I think I'm gonna have to go with mangoes on this one. Even thought there are so many fruits I've never tried; another one might win out someday.

    Mangosteen!!!

You can't overdose on them, because I would have.

The durian comes in second place.

    Mangoes.
I love ripping the skin off with my hands and teeth and devouring the whole thing.

Cherries and berries. Apples used to be my favourite fruit (I could eat 2-3 a day, pre-primal and I would still eat a few a week on PB) but this summer I decided to eat season-only fruits. After almost two months of apple-free I had an apple and it just tasted soooooo sweet. It was actually gross.
