Hi everyone! I'm a newbie and I'm from Italy, I live in Genoa! And in a month I'll have to visit Germany for work. Specifically I'll be in Nuremberg!

    Welcome to Germany then, Gaulshun.

I am currently living in Berlin for work, and my German is around B2 level (I am taking classes), so I think I am capable of the Facebook group's discussions - I just requested to join.

Germany seems to be ideal for following a primal diet. There is great resistance to genetically modified anything, Berlin has an incredible number of Organic-only stores (though they are hellishly expensive...steak for 3 can run more than 60 euros!).

I am interested in joining up with other like minded people and creating food co ops, and perhaps engaging in movnat type training together. Hopefully this is discussed on the Facebook group's page - I am looking forward to meeting up with you.

I'm from Germany (Rheinland-Pfalz) originally but moved to the States years ago. Been eating primally for 2 years now.

I'm also in Berlin. I get lots of pity when I tell people I have to avoid grains because that is just about the most horrible thing a German person can imagine: a life with no bread, and no beer. At least there's always smoked ham with lots of nitrites and canned vegetables. Argh, this country has a long way to go.

I'm over in Austria (Vienna). So kind of in the region...

I'm an American Expat living over here, last November, my Dr. put me on a highly restricted diet, that was basically Primal. I searched the internet looking for info and a community to join in with, mostly through Atkins forums, but the forums I found were pretty toxic and not very positive.

A co-worker pointed me in the direction of Mark's Daily Apple a couple months ago and I got completely sucked in. I like it here. Hooray!

Am in Frankfurt. Seems to be plenty of grass fed meat about, going on my local butcher. Either that or I misunderstood using my distinctly ropey German.
