But girls???? What are they thinking? I am at the point that I can see a little flower or heart or something, But I've seen several really beautiful girls with a mural tattooed on them. It kinda makes one curious about their decision making ability.
I guess in about 50 years there will be a new game in the nursing homes 'Name the tattoo' what was that?

    Sorry for the rant. :-)
    Wow, that was kinda rude.

    Anyway...

@Griffin... I've always really liked that wolf story. I think the first time I read it was in one of Osho's books on meditation (can't remember which one). This is the first time I've seen an image inspired by it. Very cool!

@Sudenveri... that's an awesome tattoo, very nice looking.

@erikJ... you've got skills man! I love the "drawings/watercolor" area of your portfolio! The portrait of the old man blows my mind.

And as for tattoos and meaning, my most recent, a couple years old, is of a cicada. I've always loved cicadas, their songs are lush and sultry and make me think of slow, hot, summer nights. The meaning behind it, though, is that the cicada represents change and rebirth. I got it at a time when I was shedding old layers and becoming a truer form of me.

What's funny, when I moved to Nashville it was right before the "cicada invasion". Everyone was freaking out about it but I was overjoyed. I annoyed a few people with my exuberance over the coming onslaught.

I'm 26 now with health issues and a fairly shit-tastic genetic record. If I'm still alive and kicking in 50 years, the second-to-last thing I'm going to worry about is whether or not my skin is pristine. The very last thing I'm going to worry about is what men think of me. Actually, come to think of it, that's pretty much the last thing I worry about now.

Griffin and ciep - Thank you both!

Well, damn. I was going to say your tattoo is even more cool now I know the story behind it but since you don't care what men think... Kidding, and that is still one kick ass tattoo.

It's cool seeing different people's take on things. Personally I find cicadas creepy as hell. I am totally not a bug guy. It's nice to know that when they start making that incessent noise there are people that appreciate it

You guys can keep the cicadas. I've had ringing in my ears since birth, and it sounds exactly like a bunch of cicadas. When I'm sick, it gets louder.

Looking at ericj's work and the moths etc he has done, I'd be surprised if he couldn't whip up a damned good looking spider for you.
