Ok, my gf brought home a ham bone, with a fair amount of meat still on it.

What can I do with it?

Keep in mind, I'm experimenting with the carnivore thing and she's....the exact opposite.

    Any suggestions?

    Make a broth!

You'll probably have to cook it for entire day to get anything out of it though.

Eh, might as well toss it outside for a dog...

Ham bones are great for soup. You can use a recipe like this and decide whether or not you want to add beans: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/ham-bone-soup/Detail.aspx. It's pretty easy to eat around the beans if you just want the meat/stock/veggies.

Bone soup is wonderful, especially in the cold, cold winter.
