Your location: Southern Alberta
Age (If you want): 40!
How Primal are you: Depends on whether dairy counts as primal. Try to stick to it as much as possible - maybe 90%.
Do you consume dairy: Some -- heavy cream, butter, some cheese, and yogurt.
Do you drink coffee or tea: Have kind of lost my taste for coffee lately. A few sips and then it starts to taste *blech*. Green tea once in a while. Love matcha but am trying to watch caffeine.
Motivator for switching to Primal: Just trying new ways to improve my health (fatigue, moods, thyroid and adrenal issues). Had wondered about the gluten thing and cutting it out has made a big difference (less belly bloat).
Favorite exercise: Depends on the day. Walking, weights, yoga, sprints, swimming.
Favorite Primal food: Too many too choose! I think egg yolks and butter would have to be near the top. Almost any veggie, except raw broccoli.
Best part about being Primal: Discovering fat is my friend. Yummy foods, easier to manage blood sugar and hunger, better moods for the most part.
Worst part about being Primal: I'm trying to be quite strict on the gluten thing, so haven't had any sips of my DH's beer for the past 2 months -- I especially miss Guinness!

Motivator for switching to Primal: I dropped 30 lbs over the course of a year by cutting out sugar and carbohydrates for dinner and dessert. Then I hit a plateau (despite the calorie and carbohydrate restriction) so I decided to try the primal diet out. Almost four weeks primal and down 5 pounds - it's just what my body needed.
Favorite exercise: Lifiting/Sprints
Favorite Primal food: BACON, avocados and walnuts
Best part about being Primal: Always satisfied, always full and the best part, it's always guiltfree.
Worst part about being Primal: I *love* beer. That has been the hardest thing for me to pass up.
