How Primal are you: About 80 percent right now. Just quit grains again cold turkey 3 weeks ago. Four years ago, before I got married, I was about 90 percent Primal and I intend to get back there.

Do you consume dairy: Butter, cream and cheese, yes. I am reducing my milk intake because I suspect it gives me acne.

Do you drink coffee or tea: We drink a lot of green & oolong in our house. I've never liked coffee much, but I have a cup before kung-fu class on Saturdays. A shot of caffeine seems to improve my performance.

Motivator for switching BACK to Primal: losing the 6-8 pounds of "happy weight" I put on since I got married, clearing up my skin, reducing PMS issues, being a better martial artist.

    Favorite exercise: kung fu, baby!

Favorite Primal food: Butter. Sometimes by the spoonful.

Best part about being Primal: The energy! The clear-headedness! The envy!

Worst part about being Primal: I miss baking. I greatly look forward to experimenting with almond flour. EDIT: Turns out I'm allergic to almonds! Guess I'll go back to doing without!

Hi everyone! I already started a separate thread to introduce myself, but since everyone seems to be posting the info here I thought I might as well do so myself, with an abbreviated version.

    Your location: Germany (Bavaria)

    Age (If you want): 35

How Primal are you: Almost 100% for several weeks now

Do you consume dairy: Yes (mostly cheese and butter/cream)

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes - mostly coffee, but all sorts of tea as well occasionally

Motivator for switching to Primal: Weight loss, functional fitness, body composition, general energy levels

Favorite exercise: cycling, pull-ups (can't pull up my own body weight yet, but getting there)

    Favorite Primal food: Steak, Eggs

Best part about being Primal: It feels great, and it not only makes sense intuitively, but it's also confirmed by science.

Worst part about being Primal: Relatives and friends have a hard time adapting to it, and at times you might feel like an outcast. I'm confident though that this will pass once my changed body composition will prove to everyone that I'm doing way better than I was before.
