    Greetings from Vermont!

    Your location: Northwest Vermont

    Age (If you want): 54

How Primal are you: Beginner, just ramping up for a month -- say 70% as of this week

Do you consume dairy: Yes, local and raw

Do you drink coffee or tea: Gave up coffee about 6 weeks ago, now drinking green and white tea

Motivator for switching to Primal: To get healthy and stay that way as long as possible. I followed vegetarian CW for years -- lots of whole grains, beans, corn, complimentary proteins, etc. Now I'm 54, 30% body fat, and cholesterol of 310!!!!! I'm done with CW -- when I read The Primal Blueprint, it just made intuitive sense to me.

    Favorite exercise: Hiking

Favorite Primal food: Wild caught Alaskan coho salmon

Best part about being Primal: I feel SO much better!!! No more bloating, no more achy joints, no more headaches, so much more energy!

Worst part about being Primal: Planning. Never my forté. I have to plan my cooking and eating -- if I don't plan, I resort to junk-eating.

How Primal are you: I don't know what the scale is, but I have cut out all sugar, all processed foods, all grains. I'm ramping up slowly to the physical activity aspect (I have a strange metabolism - I don't perspire above the neck, which makes it too easy for me to overheat with even moderate exertion).

Do you consume dairy: Cheese and heavy cream; sometimes whole milk. I have no problem digesting dairy.

Do you drink coffee or tea: I don't like the taste of coffee, but I will drink tea.

Motivator for switching to Primal: I got sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Favorite exercise: Walking, especially on nature trails.

Best part about being Primal: I have so much more energy now, and I feel really happy all the time.

Worst part about being Primal: I haven't found it yet, but I'm sure I'll eventually run into somebody who thinks I'm crazy.
