    Age (If you want): 39 is just around the corner..

    How Primal are you: More than I realized but not enough to keep the weight off... I think the switch will be easy once I get the hang of it..

    Do you consume dairy: cottage cheese, some cheese, greek style yogurt (is that ok?)

    Do you drink coffee or tea: Coffee if it has chocolate in it... so easy to ditch all together... surprisingly not addicted

    Motivator for switching to Primal: weightloss

    Favorite exercise: dancing, walking, mild bike riding (This is new), yin yoga, chi gong, pilates... oh, and wee bit of kettlebell...(girly style... as me about that!)

    Favorite Primal food: bacon... steak, porkchops... MEAT!!!

    Best part about being Primal: Energy... ENERGY...ENERGY!

    Worst part about being Primal: Having been sooo low on energy, I didn't have to get creative to fill my day... Now I do... (that's not so bad is it??), trying to get my kids to eat more meat! Little self made vegetarians... Whose kids are these????

    Well, I thought I should introduce myself... I've been all over the forum for a week or so... This place is awesome... I'm a mother of twins, One of my kids did not sleep through the night until he was 4!!!! It was really stressfull, and caused major exhaustion... I've physically spiraled out of control in part due to that. Finally getting sleep, and have recovered from a serious bought of winter/preschool cooties... I'm bound and determined to get it together, uncover the body that I KNOW exists, feel good and play with my kiddos! After I gather and cook meals... that is

    How Primal are you: Getting more and more every day.

    Do you consume dairy: No but I miss cheese.

    Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes. I have actually learned to drink my coffee with nothing in it.

    Motivator for switching to Primal: The Get Lean Challenge at my CrossFit box. (CrossFit Bellevue FTW!)

    Favorite exercise: Overhead squat (cause Sage says that's where you make your chedda)

    Favorite Primal food: Grass fed beef

    Best part about being Primal: I'm starting to see my abs

    Worst part about being Primal: Did I mention I miss cheese? And white rice...what can I say, I'm Filipino...I don't crave them so much just miss them.

    I am 99% dairy free (excluding whey protein)

    Acne. I am officially going 99% Primal to inspire my blog readers and to create a little buz...

    Favorite exercise:

    Sprint intervals without a doubt!! And, I LOVE to compete in 5K Runs - love them to death

    Favorite Primal food:

    DIY Big Ass Salad. I just about eat one every day.

    Best part about being Primal:

    I feel incredible and I am not even 100% primal! Damn I can't wait till the around 80% becomes 99%!! It basically is now...

    Worst part about being Primal:

    So I've put off doing this because I'm not big on introductions. And yet now I've succumbed.

    Your location: Oh let's be obnoxious and say "Earth".

    Age (If you want): By Earth years, I'm 27.

    How Primal are you: How Primal are YOU? So basically I was eating a very-nearly-primal diet for two years until I was talked into adding back in some whole grains because gosh, they must be healthy for you since your energy improves on them. (Yeah, my energy improved because I was eating like 8 servings of them per day. I think that would do anybody in. At least at the start.) I've been struggling with addiction since that time, but have resolved to go sans grains once again, because I don't feel the urge to binge eat without them so strongly.

    Do you consume dairy: Just butter. Other forms make me mucusy and ruin my workouts (from coughing up so much phlegm).

    Do you drink coffee or tea: Yech. Never developed a taste for these two. Well, I can enjoy a peppermint tea rarely.

    Motivator for switching to Primal: Improve health, attain abundant energy, freedom from food cravings, lose 20lbs of body fat, be hot babe, etc.

    Favorite exercise: I like running. I really do. But it sucks. So I think I enjoy weight lifting the most, actually.

    Favorite Primal food: I found the most amazing grass-fed organic beef patties from a local source. OMG amazing.

    Best part about being Primal: Simplicity.

    Worst part about being Primal: Having to erase the incorrect condition you've received in your life up until going Primal. Like accepting that the mainstream dietary advice is all messed up, that you don't have to destroy yourself with crazy taxing workouts to lose weight and be fit, that the sun is actually GOOD for you, etc. etc. It's like some messed up psych experiment.

    Do you consume dairy: Butter and cream mainly. Cheese in small quantities and only occasionally as it gives me headaches. Milk makes me want to puke so only occasional small amounts.

    Talking Just starting out on this Primal journey...

    So very close to 33.

    How Primal are you: Just starting out, with 5 days worth, started on April Fools Day... doing ok so far! Keeping the good dairy, but knocking out the grains / carbs... shouldn't be too tough, we were mostly gluten-free since November of last year.

    Do you consume dairy: Butter, cream and cheese will not be refused.

    Do you drink coffee or tea: Mostly Good Earth herbal teas, always black. No coffee.

    Motivator for switching to Primal: Weight loss, strength, to be able to keep up with my two (not so little anymore) boys. I'm trying it for a month and then we'll reassess. Started at 230 and already 5 pounds gone so far -- Nice start!

    Favourite exercise: Walking, Jogging, Swimming, Biking.

    Favourite Primal food: Steak and Tomatoes!

    Best part about being Primal: Getting to eat my favorite foods

    Worst part about being Primal: Resisting the "goodies." All the Easter candy was tempting me yesterday, but I did great! Not one bite. Will be sad to not have Potato Soup anymore...

    Hello -

    I'm Tracey and I'm new to PB, I've read the book and a lot of the blog/forum posts. I'm still assimilating information and haven't started the plan just yet. I have begun adding in more veggies to my diet. I already eat fairly high protein so that will be easy and I already limit my grain carbs but eat quite a bit of sugar so that'll be the kicker for this plan!

    I can't really answer the other questions just yet since I haven't started!

    But a bit about me, since Oct. 08 I've lost 140 pounds and I have another 15 or so to go to get to my goal. I'm hoping that cleaning up my eating will not only get those last pounds off but bring me up to 100% in terms of health and well-being. I want to have excellent bloodwork and not just "Good" and I want to feel more energy than I do now, sleep well, have better skin and just overall BE 100% in my life. I'm not doing that right now. I'm probably at 70-80% most of the time so I'm not starting at the bottom of the heap but it will also be a bit harder to detect at the same time. I'm looking forward to this and have brought my partner in this with me - he's the semi-reluctant, "well, we can do this but you have to cook and tell me what to eat" kind of person but that's OK since I do that anyway. He's got chronic pain, allergies, and asthma and 10 extra pounds so I'm hoping that we can lessen the pain, eliminate the allergies, downgrade the asthma and reduce the weight.

    So yeah .. that's me. =)

    How Primal are you: ~80%

    Do you consume dairy: Steamed milk (for latte), Kefir (for smoothie), aged cheese, cottage cheese, butter, cream

    Do you drink coffee or tea: Both. Espresso (latte) for coffee and all kinds of green tea’s

    Motivator for switching to Primal: Want to shed fat, but did not want to invest the time and effort I devoted previously with 5-6 meals. Also did not feel Adkins was a healthy long term lifestyle, and then I found the Primal Blueprint. It makes the most sense to me.

    Favorite exercise: Free weights and mountain bike. Not at the same time.

    Favorite Primal food: Steak and bacon.

    Best part about being Primal: Steak. Oh, and feeling better without all the processed carbs and grains and no guilt about bacon.

    Worst part about being Primal: No cake. No corn on the cob. Although, the 80/20 rule leaves a little wiggle room for occasional cake and corn on the cob. That is why it makes sense to me.
