“It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creeds into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics.”

How Primal are you: That's a tough question as I've only just started. I've been 100% committed to following a diet based on the advice offered in 'The Paleo Diet,' 'Good Calories, Bad Calories,' and 'Protein Power.'

Do you drink coffee or tea: I drink Green Tea with Splenda (at most 2 packets/day).

Favorite Primal food: A well cooked piece of beef, pork, chicken, omelet, etc.

Best part about being Primal: Not counting calories or measuring every last ingredient.

Worst part about being Primal: I do miss my great big pasta dishes, potatoes, and sweets.

I began this Primal journey on December 30th, 2009 and in that time I've lost over 125 LBS.

    How Primal are you:

Do you consume dairy: only raw but usually not at all, ill taste test at harry's, or on holidays.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Dr. Health Motley, Weston Price, Jack Lalanne, my own experimentation. I had cancer a while back...i was told primal would kill everything but mostly cut out aspartame and wheat to start out. I went cold turkey on soda and switched directly to natural/organic only. Currently i only do fresh with as much local organic as possible. I'm in college so its hard but i do my best. I only eat out sometimes at Harrys, teds montana grill, williamson brothers barbercue... ill try limit bad stuff whereever. I use common sense and moderation at all times....I will eat a little bit of grains come holiday time etc.

Favorite exercise:n Heavy lifting makes me feel best, group sports, cycling, sprinting...working on rehabbing my knee first. Walking places works too.

Favorite Primal food: I love it all. Probably game meats. Love bison, venison, and lamb, grass fed beef. I juice vegetables as often as I can.

Best part about being Primal: Feel good stay lean.

Worst part about being Primal: Being a health nut in general kinda screws up your social life but most of my friends are cool with it i just try not to convert them.
